ISD-TECH BECOMES A REDSCAN PARTNER
ISD-Tech are pleased to announce that they have partnered with Optex to become a Redscan Partner.
Optex Europe is the world’s leading manufacturer of infrared detection devices for the security industry, with over 30 years’ experience in the manufacture of specialist internal and external detection technology suitable for domestic, industrial, commercial and very high security installations.
The RedScan Laser sensor is specifically designed for use in medium to large sized sites where volumetric detection is required or perimeter applications where longer range is required coupled with a very narrow detection area. Rugged and durable construction and highly reliable in operation, the sensor has four, individually addressable and adjustable zones, making the sensor ideal for integrating with Preset Dome cameras typically used in Remote CCTV Verification systems and high-end perimeter security systems.
The product concept allows for both horizontal scanning (volumetric detection coverage) and vertical scanning (downward facing narrow beam) with four fully addressable zone contact outputs. One of the many unique features of the product is that it can map the secure area perfectly; scanning around objects, bushes etc – in downward facing mode, the product can map the ground contours perfectly including raised mounds and/or gullies thus eliminating possible creep zone areas.
Optex are also a market leader in outdoor PIR sensors (Redwall®) for use in CCTV systems for over 10 years and have recently acquired Fiber Sensys, a fibre optic premier perimeter security systems.
