SIX HOURS IN THE SADDLE – OR MORE!

ISD-Tech recently put together a team of 1 5 cyclists for the annual London to Brighton Bike Ride in June this year.

The event which started from Clapham Common in London early on Sunday morning travelled through the English countryside to Brighton on the South Coast.

The 15 strong team , which raised a combined total of £2,400 for the BHF , was very much split into two camps; the hardened professionals who had been training for months, to the rest of the team who had only been out a few times on their bikes before the big event .  Everyone had a fantastic though very tiring time, with the last of the riders coming in 9 hours after the start!

Managing Director Nicky Stokes said: “this is the first year that ISD-Tech has entered a team and we hope to make this an annual event, though I’m not sure if everyone who took part would have signed up again on the day.  The London to Brighton Bike Ride is such a good event and raises funds for a very worthy cause.  Most people will have some experience of heart disease whether it has affected themselves or their family and friends.  The BHF provides enormous support to those affected and we are proud to have supported them”.

The London to Brighton Bike Ride is the UK's largest charity bike ride with 27,000 riders cycling the scenic route between London and Brighton on the south coast.  Nicky said: “the BHF provides lots of events every year and I hope our team at ISD-Tech can take part and continue to support the charity”.
